Solutions
VP Sensors, flow sensor solutions, offer simultaneous measurements of mass flow, temperature and flow direction measurement. The smart sensor is temperature compensated, independent of pressure, and provides stable measurements. Integration is easy and economically with either a standard design or your custom design.
Our flow sensors consist of the proprietary silicon “Thermabridge” flow sensor and a microcontroller. The design of the Wheatstone bridge is combined with a heater, which keeps the sensor at a constant temperature. The silicon chip provides rapid response to air or gas flow amount and direction, providing a proportional I2C voltage output. Thanks to the dual power design, the user can turn off the heater power to save energy, e.g. in battery operated systems.
